Try the Guzheng

A hands-on mini-lesson where 5 audience members get to learn a short tune on the Guzheng under guidance (no music experience required). Participants will learn how to pluck strings seperately or together, make soft and loud sounds, and be able to ask questions about the guzheng. Pricing for >5 audience members: contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance for most events. For festivals and large events, 4-6 weeks ahead is ideal to ensure availability. For last-minute inquiries, feel free to reach out, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Yes. We bring our own Guzheng instruments, instrument stands, and any necessary performance accessories. We just need a suitable performance area (indoor or outdoor) with enough flat floor space (approximately 10×12 feet) and good acoustics. For convenience on our end, we also request that a chair be available for each performer for playing. We may request a basic PA system for narration in larger venues.
Yes, as long as certain conditions are met. Extreme weather — excessive wind, rain, moisture, etc. — can damage the Guzheng, and we will be unable to perform. Please mention outdoor requirements when you book an event.
Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 7-14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that our performers initiate cancellation due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund or work with you to reschedule at no additional cost (subject to mutual availability). However, we encourage rescheduling over cancelling to avoid the cancellation fee. We appreciate your understanding.
Our performers attend school during school year weekdays, so weekend bookings are preferred. We are also available on weekday afternoons. Reach out with questions about desired dates, and we'll be happy to work with you.
